“Please? I’ll give you the Avengers t-shirt you're so jealous of.” Amara pleaded with her friend. Kerenza sighed, closing her book and standing.
“Alright, I’ll come, let me get my rain boots and jacket.” Amara already had her boots on; their bright yellow clashing with the purple hoodie she was wearing. Kerenza donned her rain gear, a bit slower than necessary. She rolled her eyes at Amaras impatient foot tap. She opened the door, and Amara pushed her out into the rain. Kerenza put her hood up.
“Where do you want to go?” she asked turning to look at Amara.
“Anywhere, how about the woods

She's Basically Harmless
“She’s basically harmless.”
That’s what the security guard says as he turns away from her cell. A few seconds later, the guard has a knife in his back and she is creeping down the hallway. No one even knows she’s there.
She’s basically harmless.
With a wire that had previously been concealed in her ponytail she picks the lock to the weapons room. The teenager selects two handguns. Those, along with the gun she already has, her set of throwing knives, and her explosives kit, will be enough for anything she will come across on this mission.
She’s basically harmless.

Cities I've Never Been To
I'm in love with cities I've never been to,
And people I've never met,
I like clothes I've never worn,
And chairs in which I've never sat.
I've been on many adventures,
Yet I've never left this room,
But there are still so many out there,
And I hope to go on them too.
There's a special sort of magic,
That stirs within my heart,
Every time I turn a page,
To the end from the very start.
There is still so much out there;
So many dreams to be had.
Use your imagination to its fullest,
though people think you're mad
Here in this place I stand,
Alone.
No one will listen; they don’t understand.
This no longer feels like home.
Why can’t they see this is who I am.
This is the real me.
But I am not good enough, and they don’t notice
The hurt buried inside.
I try to be tough; but what they can’t see is
Little by little it is killing me to keep the act up.
I want to let the walls down,
It’s been so long I don’t know how to be without them.
I've spent all of my life hiding how I really feel,
Now I don’t know how to stop running.
So what do I do? How can I stop?
Somehow I have to stop pretending,
I am so tired of acting

To: The friend I never knew
I suppose I’ll start at the beginning. I waited for you even when I was a small child. It was only that inkling of having a best friend always by my side. That was it; and then it was gone. I didn't really think about you again until I was 18 when my parents died. I was angry, and alone. I felt you, of all people, should have been there.
But you weren't there,
And you didn't come,
And I hated you for it.
Then I had to pay my own way through college; pay for my own house. I was technically a grown up; but I wasn't ready, not for that. I needed someone, anyone, to be there,

Riley!
The shriek from upstairs would have been enough to pull Ben from his book if the younger mans sudden bolting out of the room hadnt done it. Riley had jumped off the couch and toward the door a good five seconds before Abigails yell had reached them. Sometimes, the computer genius had timing that amazed even him.
What did you do this time? Ben yelled after his friend, but the only response he got was the slamming of his own front door.
It didnt matter because Abby, dressed in a loose t-shirt, shorts, and still dripping wet, slid into the room righ
Helooooo!! not that I expect anyone to actually read this....... I'm bored. I'm writing a story for my little brother, and he wants illustatrations. Which is a problem, because I obviously cannot draw. The story is about dragons, so I'm fairly certain if I can't draw landscapes, I can't draw dragons. I would commission someone to do some, but I don't have any money for it..... So I'm in trouble..... lol.
